For MyHometel’s second hotel, we got our inspiration from two successful business entrepreneurs: Jeff Bezos (founder of the popular online boom store Amazon.com) and Walt Disney (one of the first powerful media moguls, founder of The Walt Disney Company, and creator of Mickey Mouse, Disney Land and many other much loved cartoon characters). Each has a different take on the meaning of customer. For Jeff Bezos, he sees his customers as invited guests to a party, and he is the host. It’s his job every day to make every important aspect of the customer experience a little bit better. On the other hand, Walt Disney’s take on a customer is to give the “customer” everything you can give them, keep the place as clean as you can keep it, and keep it friendly. Read more
